Yesterday we went to Luke Days at the Air Force Base an hour away from our home. The boys and I had a lot of fun. It was constant military air shows.

Maxwell cried during Tora Tora Tora which is an air battle reenactment from World War II. They simulate bombs during it. Maxwell fell asleep after that and took a sweaty nap on me for awhile. Maxwell wouldn't sit up on our shoulders to get a better view; he thought it was too dangerous up there.

The Thunderbirds consisting of six jets were the grand finale. They even have two female pilots. The kids' favorite part of the day was when the Thunderbird F-16s would all fly toward each other in a coordinated game of 1100 mph chicken.

One of the earlier shows had a helicopter that would do aerobatics. I have never seen anything so crazy. There were jumpers that had chutes which had them going 45 mph at landing.

On the way home we got to hear first hand what a three year old is thinking. Almost the whole way Maxwell would yell out each of the exit numbers over and over until the next one. "One-Three-Seven." Sometimes we even heard, "That's a big number." "I see water."(It had rained a lot Th-Sa morning.) and, "Look at the clouds." He jibber-jabbered most of the drive. Jared and I were cracking up.

Elijah lost another tooth. I believe he has now lost a total of four teeth- 3 on bottom and 1 on top.

On Thursday Maxwell, Xander and I went to Target. We were on the way somewhere so hanging out wasn't an option. When we came out it was pouring rain. Xander called it a "mean rain" because it started pelting us with hail the size of marbles. We got completely soaked in the short dash to the car. We had to come home to change. When I was combing Maxwell's hair he said, "Anyways, we just had a bath . . . a bath outside."

Maxwell now says Well in a drawn out way just like Xander. I hear that word 1000 times every day. Their five-year-old cousin Seth also says it repeatedly.
