Maxwellisms

I just have a few Maxwellisms from the last while. Teaching your kids to read can be interesting. Maxwell and I were in a public restroom together and after we washed our hands he shouted, "Mom, we can use these napkins!" for drying our hands. I informed him they were that variety of napkins and then I had to answer a bunch of his questions.

Today we were playing pit with Stephanie and Bryce. After several rounds Bryce still had 0 points. Not so bad considering some of us were in negative numbers. Maxwell asked Bryce, "Hey, why aren't you trying to get any points?" He thought Bryce was not understanding the game. It was mostly funny because of how competitive Bryce is.

Hopefully I will go in to more detail later, but Elijah's baptism was wonderful. He is a great first son and a good leader and example and we love him.

I hope Bryce catches on soon!

It was fun to see how well you can read Maxwell. Did you know that many children in the world never get to learn to read? Isn't that sad? Maybe some day you will help others who have not had the opportunity for education. I love you, Grandma J
