The Boy in Jared

The Boy in Jared

This morning I had a meeting. Now Maxwell has gone to many meetings with me so he knows they are going to be quite boring. Jared kept trying to convince Maxwell to go with me and that he would have more fun there but Maxwell stuck to his decision to stay home with Dad. Jared kept saying how boring it would be at home. I was quite surprised when I returned home to find Maxwell eating at the table with no Jared to be seen. I then discovered Jared in the playroom building a Marble Works structure all by himself and had to laugh and quickly take a picture. He was a good sport about it and let me keep the pictures.

It your favorite long-lost cousin!

Hey there Jared and Sara. It's fun to look at your blog every once and awhile and see what a wonderful family you have. It's been way too long since we've seen each other, but I can see that some things never change--Jared is still that big kid that I remember! Hopefully our paths will cross someday in the near future. Our blog is www.guesswhatiloveyou.blogspot.com. Your boys are adorable and I can tell you have been amazing parents. Love, Tiffany and family

Why Am I Not Surprised?

Even though we tease you about being one of Sara's boys, I love that part of you. You make a great dad because you still give into the boy in you. I am glad, though, that Sara posted this after you got your job offer--there might have been second thoughts if this side of your nature was revealed! Congratulations!

Love, Mom
