Who Would Catch a black widow on porpuse?

I would! Do you know why I would? I would because I'm crazy! My mom caught a black widow on accident.Did you know that black widows aren't just black? My mom caught the black widow while I was at school,

I myself wouldn't much care to catch a black widow . . .

Actually I find the study of spiders very interesting BUT I am just not into making pets of them! Do you know that once when we were visiting our friends in Utah, we came across a tarantula on their front step? It's body was about the size of an apricot and seemed to be furry. These types of tarantulas may be very big but they are not harmful to man. They actually help by eating bugs that bother our gardens. You should have seen how frightened our friend was when he tried to get it into a jar so he could take it away from the house to release it. Every time the spider moved a bit, he would jump. It was pretty funny. However, a black widow bite can make you sick. It is good to know if they are around so you can take precautions. I love you all, Grandma Jensen

P.S. A great book about spiders is "Spinning Spiders" by Melvin Berger om the "Let's Read and Find Out About Science" series. I have this book and perhaps your library does too.
