We had a fun Halloween this year. I managed to convince the boys to be ninjas. They were all requesting $40 costumes and I wasn't going for that so I told them how they could be cool and affordable ninjas. They enjoyed it. They also enjoyed our Trick or Treating experience in our very own neighborhood. We ended up doing a lot more than I planned on but I wanted to go to a street South of us which I knew some people on and then we ended up doing all of the streets in between. We also had to do our own street of course. They had fun and I learned to important things. Do not allow the kids to accessorize the costumes and bring a backpack. Fortunately I was wearing a jacket despite the unseasonably warm weather so I had two pockets as well as my two hands to hold everything but a backpack would have worked much better.
