Today

Jared wants me to try to write a few sentences every day. I could just write: Maxwell talked my ears off again today and copy and paste for every day and it would be true (at least until July 27th when he starts school). I think I will be really lonely when that happens. Maxwell even talks my ears off when I can't really hear him. He stands outside the bathroom when I shower and will talk to me and I keep saying I can't hear you so he keeps talking louder and louder and I keep reiterating that I can't hear him. Then I give up and he finishes and I hope and pray that I have not given permission or agreed to anything (in his mind) through my silence. Also driving can be really loud and when I am concentrating on driving I can't always comprehend his babble but he keeps on talking and I am left wondering what he was talking about.

Yesterday he kept telling me about where the power lines were made. He thought they were made (sort of born) at the substation on Elliot and Kyrene.

Today was a bit more exciting than laundry. Today we met Carey, Brigham, and Lucy at Arizona Museum for Youth. It is a great Art Museum for toddlers. Max and I always enjoy getting out of the house. Afterwards, Carey and the babes headed for home. As we left the parking lot Maxwell stated that he was hungry. I asked him what he wanted for lunch. He wanted a cookie. I laughed but I knew what he was talking about. Near where we were (1/4 mile away) is the Sweet Cakes Cafe. A year ago we discovered this place with my mom. They honestly make the best as big as your face cookies. We went there, grabbed a sandwich to share and purchased 5 cookies (one for each member of the family). Then we went and hung at the library by the boys' school since it was too close to pick-up to do anything else or to go home. I loved seeing my sister and her son makes me feel so good.

Aunt Annette (Jared's side) has been blogging a bit about validation the last few days. I have to say that Brigham is my validation and everyone needs a Brigham in their life.
