Burn Out

Well, we officially (I think) did not get the house. It is an awesome system where you invest $1000 in appraisal and inspection fees and you walk away with nothing because of the crappy seller. Why is there a financial loss garnered against the buyers if there is a breach of contract and no compensation to the buyers if the sellers breach?

Some people are happy about this; honestly that hurts a little. I don't think they realize how much time and money we invested into this and how much our family desires to own a home and finally be settled for our boys. Elijah has lived in around 8 homes since he was born. He is only 9 1/2.

The house appraised low and the bank did not want to drop down to the appraisal price. Today we filled out notice of cancellation forms based on this and the breach of contract so I am pretty sure it is official. Although we never know for sure. That is just how this roller coaster has gone.

I don't want to house shop anymore. I am done for now.

I am so disappointed for

I am so disappointed for you. It is tough to do all the right things and then have such a let down. I can't believe you have lost the $1000 when you really did all you could. This really stinks big time! I sure love you. Mom
