What a fun weekend!

Jared thinks I left the impression that he purchased my phone off of the black market. I am sorry if you thought that. Jared was very careful to do everything he could as a consumer to make sure that was not the case. I was more concerned that he was carrying a large amount of cast to purchase the phone and the seller could have claimed it was stolen after the purchase or Jared could have gotten knocked on the head and had the cash stolen.

This past weekend we enjoyed the company of Seth, Brigham and Jensen Bailey. I have never spent so many hours in the pool in one weekend. We were in the pool for several hours Friday evening, Saturday day and finally Sunday afternoon. It was crazy. I had to be in the pool since a 3 year old wanted to swim as well. On Friday he just wanted to stay on the stairs and the bench. He didn't want to go out into the water and he didn't trust his new "wings" to hold him up. On Saturday he wouldn't wear the wings at all and he wanted to jump from the side of the pool into my arms for several hours. By Sunday he was ready to try the wings. He was so excited and proud that he could "swim". I enjoyed following him around and he would "swim" out to me and then "swim" back to the wall, stairs, or bench. He didn't want to try jumping with the wings on though.

We had a bag of dog treats on the counter. They were actually called dog cookies and the packaging was similar to packaging on a small bag of cookies a human might eat. There was only one whole one left. I caught Brigham taking some crumbs out of the bag and asking me to make more cookies. He had already eaten the "cookie" at another time.

Yesterday we had fun at church. We took up more than 1/2 a bench. Brigham went with Maxwell to Sharing Time and then to class. I offered Brigham to come with me after Junior Sharing Time, but he seriously wanted to go with Maxwell to class. While in class Brigham took of his shoe, handed it to Maxwell and asked Maxwell to put it on. After Maxwell was done, Brigham said, "You're my hero, Max!" Max was pretty proud of that story so he had to share it with me right when I picked them up. I felt bad about Brig going to such an older class, but my class is even older and all of the Primary adults knew he was with me and where I was. Brigham was perfectly happy in CTR 6 even though he is a Sunbeam.

Elijah did really well at his basketball game. He was hustling and playing really aggressively. Brigham thought it was "awesome" to watch Elijah play on the court. 3 year olds can be really supportive.

We had a fun weekend, only leaving the house all together for church and Elijah's basketball game. Without the pool there would have been a lot more video games, TV, and movies. We did watch Sinbad on Friday night and Alvin and the Chipmunks on Saturday night. I made sure to purchase ice cream so there would be treats available this weekend. The kids never asked for treats. I think with all the swimming that included popcorn and wheat thins to keep up their energy and the large amounts of food everyone scarfed down for dinner no one even thought about sugar. I was looking forward to a treat fest. We just had a few skittles while playing a game together after church.

I love those Baileys and all 6 kids were in kid heaven most of the time.

It sounds like it was kid
