Anderson Bed and Breakfast

You are all invited to the Anderson Bed and Breakfast. The Primary chorister commented this past Sunday that we must be running one since we always seem to have guests. Three weekends ago it was 3 of the Bailey Babes. It was awesome. This past weekend we had the Rossel family. Summer had a baby 7 weeks ago and we have a running tradition that they come visit us when they have a baby. Seems backwards, I know. Their first baby, Renee, was the only time we went to them post-baby. That was 9 years ago and pre-Arizona. Since then with the births of Olivia, 5 1/2; Evan, 3 1/2; and now Aubrey they have come to us. I justify that it is easier for her and her family to crowd our house so I can take care of things then it is for us to crowd her house where Phillipe and her would have to take care of things.

She likes traveling to us because she is on maternity leave so she wants to pack in as much fun during maternity leave as possible. We spent the weekend swimming. The Rossel kids thought it was too hot to spend much time at parks. I cooked like crazy and we also ate pizza one night for Jared's sake. We actually consumed 2 Costco pizzas and a large bag of Caesar salad. Neither of the families usually finish one Costco pizza by themselves, but swimming makes everyone extra hungry. We made tentative plans for a next visit for the 4th of July. They are thinking of going to a family reunion in Colorado and would use us as a stopping point on the way home. They weren't able to visit us this year on our normal schedule because we were houseless during President's Day weekend.

We went to Five Guys in Tempe on Memorial Day for lunch. It was seriously the best burger I have ever had. I think the location (ASU campus) might be a little too much to visit with kids during the school year but it was great on Memorial Day. Five Guys is a chain that started in D.C.

There is more swimming in our future today. It is really hot. The water has significantly warmed up in the last week.

Sometimes we are just a dinner place, no bed or breakfast. Jennie and Brooke and Cole came over on May 22nd. We fed them dinner and the kids swam and swam and then they played and played. It was again great. Even though our house isn't quite together yet, we are enjoying having company again.

You are all welcome to visit any time. It may not be 5 star hotel accommodations but our house is filled with 5 star love.

How fun!

It sounds like your home is really a home - all together or not! I haven't seen a picture of Summer for a long time. - Post Please - I would love to see her family. AND Idaho Falls is catching up! Imagine my delight in seeing a Five Guys open up here!! They were truly one of our favorite burgers in Virginia. Now we have another good reason for you to visit us :D

I look forward to being a guest!

If we don't spent the night, we at least expect a 5 course meal and a tour of your house.

Anytime...

fun home

Sounds like you have a very fun home. I am very happy for all of you. Tell Alexander I loved his project. He was, of course, surrounded by some very pretty girls. The Anderson charm is umistakable (not mine, their dad's). Good friends are fun and essential. Enjoy life--it goes so quickly. Love to all.
