Cousins! Yay!

So it was my turn to have some cousin fun. I don't get to see my cousins often enough. Carey has been working for awhile to get Shay and Erin (Uncle Chris's daughters) out for a visit. They came for a few days this week and we headed over yesterday evening for some Friday night fun. Shay brought her two kids: Lindy, 13; and Chris, 10. Erin brought her two kids: Devon, 3; and Felicity, 20 months. One of the highlights was definitely the kisses and hugs I got from the very friendly Devon and Felicity. Chris and Lindy are really good kids. My cousins are awesome moms.

We got to eat elk burgers, YUM! and Mexican layer dip DOUBLE YUM! for dinner. Carey even apologized for the Mexican layer dip. It was the 3rd time in a row that we had that for dinner at Carey's house. We had it for Todd's birthday, Noah's birthday, and now the cousins' visit. Seriously, no need to apologize, I LOVE that stuff and need to start making it weekly for myself. I weirdly eat it with a spoon instead of chips. I don't want to waste any stomach space on chips when I can stuff my face with something so tasty using a spoon.

We played Ticket to Ride. Erin, Jared and I were Team "South Side." Jacob and Elijah were "Team Jacob," Jenny, Chris, and Shay were the "JC'S," Carey and Lindy were "Team Whatever." Turns were probably missed due to our joking and socializing but we had fun.

We admired Carey's canning work. She has canned spaghetti sauce, peaches, tomatoes, and chicken in the last few weeks. This is why she doesn't have time for Wii.

We made it home at 11:30 totally pooped, but it was awesome.
